J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez BlazeSoft (Concord, ON) en févr. 2026
Entretien
The interview process was quick and the HR recruiter was very good at communicating.
1) Phone Screen
2) Interview with the Dev Lead
3) 1 Hour Technical
4) PM and Dev interview
5) Offer
The interview process was smooth as well as the team was very nice. The reason I declined the offer was that the sick/vacation days was extremely lacking. I don't believe they offer any sick days and only 10 vacation days 15 if you have more experience. The compensation is also not very competitive.

*** 1st round ***
Contacted through email to setup a 10-15 minute introduction call. Glanced through resume and experience, talked about the role and the logistics. Talked about doing take home assignment.
*** Tech home assignment ***
Build a simple app with React & Redux, no database needed.
Basically a simple CRUD app without database
*** 2nd round ***
Technical interview in 3 parts:
- basic html, css, javascript
- questions about react and redux
- algorithm
first 2 parts were pretty basic, just need to know your fundamentals
Algorithm part was a bit harder, gave you 3 options:
- implement Promise from scratch
- bubble sort
- 2 sum
As a self taught dev that didn't learn DS&A, the algorithm part was my weakness and totally gave up.
He was very supportive and kept pushing me and giving hints.
"Let's try before you give up" he said.
