Throughout the entire process, my recruiter was often non-responsive and I’d have to reach out multiple times to schedule the next stage. I had at least 4 interviews (phone screen, hiring manager, technical round 1, and technical round 2). No LeetCode style coding, just ML based and not too difficult. Basic machine learning theory questions. Once I told them I had another offer, they rejected me. The employees didn’t seem excited about the work, and it seems like most of the work could be done by a data scientist, i.e. not true novel research.
