I got an email from a recruiter a couple of months after I submitted my application saying she wanted to speak with me. When I tried to book time on her calendar, the earliest available slot was almost five weeks out. I even followed up to ask if anything sooner was possible, but there was no flexibility.
So I waited five weeks for a 15-minute screening call for a six-month contract role. To make it worse, she kept her camera off the entire time even though she asked me to have mine on.
It honestly felt like either the company moves at the speed of 17th-century England, or they were never really serious about hiring for this role in the first place.
