The lady who interviewed is the manager from LA Lip Lab, which i found weird as i was applying for the Brooklyn, NY location and i didnt know why they didnt have the manager from the city interviewing. Besides that, they let me know the ASM position was filled (which i originally applied to) and i should be receiving a denial email for that. My frustration was, how do you fill an ASM position without interviewing ALL candidates interested in the position? The location hasnt opened yet so i know there was several of us interested for ASM. So i interviewed for “Artist”. She also made a joke about me and her ASM she chose being the same astrological sign as if that made me feel any better being that i was denied for the position without an interview. She asked me some work related questions but then proceeded to ask me what my expected salary was (then letting me know what i expected was too high for the artist position) and if i was applying to any other companies for work. I found this very unprofessional as it isn’t her business to know if im looking for work elsewhere. She also proceeded to send me a denial email at 5 am a week later. I just felt like she was dragging the interview to just waste my time and deny me the position anyways.
