Interview stretched over 4 months. There was an initial recruiter screening, followed by a virtual panel interview followed by a second virtual panel interview. Each step had about 3-4 weeks in between it. For the final panel interview I was asked to study the drug I would be selling and do a role play on that product. At the end of the process, I was informed I would have to wait until after the new year to finish the process. The recruiter informed me that I was the final candidate. However, after a month of follow ups, the recruiter stopped replying, despite informing them I had a competing offer. Biogen has stated they are going to do a layoff shortly and it is my assumption there was a hiring freeze placed on open roles. I get it, I’ve been in the industry long enough to know how this works. However, I am very disappointed by the ghosting and stringing along. It’s very unprofessional. Especially after having been interviewing for this role for over 4 months.
