      The interview started with a virtual screening with a recruiter. I was then invited to virtually meet with the department managers. I was then offered to meet the department managers in office to see if the position would be a good fit. It was clear that I was a top candidate for the position. However, the company was going to be very rigid about the position being in office only and the only reason they gave was that it was better or faster to respond to customers concerns if I only worked in office. My concern with this is the required weekly team meeting/lunch because I have celiac and I basically would always have a very awkward social experience with their lunch once a week and would realistically would have a stomach ache once a week from that requirement. They basically told me that there was no wiggle room for hybrid or remote work and made it clear that they had absolutely no interest in accommodating my physical disability. I wouldn't want to work with a company who cannot understand my basic need of reasonable accommodation and I withdrew my candidacy.

      Thanks for taking the time to share your interview feedback for our Support Specialist role. Certain positions at BillGO are required to be in the office Mon-Fri and the Support Specialist is one of them, due to the need for urgency and sensitivity in handling customers' financial inquiries. We posted the in-office requirement in our job description and discussed it during the interview process so as to not leave any room for ambiguity. Once a week, BillGO hosts a lunch-and-learn session, and all employees are asked to attend. For those in-office, BillGO provides a subsidized lunch via the Relish app and employees can pick from menu items from 2-3 different restaurants each week. Each restaurant offers several accommodations regarding individual dietary needs. Employees are not required to eat anything from those choices, nor are they required to consume anything in the office as many people have various dietary requirements. BillGO is committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and will continue to make any reasonable accommodation for employees who request such accommodations.
