After four interviews, I received a rejection with the reasoning being they were looking for someone with more experience building larger organizations. With respect, I believe this reason could be easily inferred from my resume. First interview with the VP of Engineering, later a recruiter screen, then with another Software Engineering Manager and finally a panel consisting of the VP of Engineering, an Engineering Manager and an outside consultant who was there to "coach" the other two how to conduct an interview for hiring managers. Then I was the one lacking experience... Fun fact: I've been rejected twice during this interview process. Their internal recruiter informed me that all hiring was halted due to COVID-19. The hiring manager later on stepped in and re-engaged. Thank you for that emotional rollercoaster. Overall, very unprofessional and disrespectful of your time and effort.

4 Step interview. 1) Call with a member of the recruitment team. Basic "get to know you" type questions. 2) Interview with an engineering manager. Questions are more applicable to the role itself. 3) Presentation. 2 cases are sent to you prior to the interview. You are asked to prepare a 1 hour presentation about how you would approach the provided case studies. This presentation was with an engineering manager, engineering director and a product manager. 4) two, 30 minute calls with members of the team to get to know you. Although I was not given an offer, I learned a lot during the interview process.
