I applied, 30 days went by, and then I received an email about an initial screening call. However, the employee sentiment on Glassdoor was compelling enough to get me, someone who is unemployed, to cancel the interview. Reading in between the lines from other employees, it's obvious the external stated employee experience is a mirage. Their CEO leads with both anger and ego and their HR team is undeveloped. For example, there are multiple sources stating he threatened staff with layoffs in June of 2023 during all-hands calls. Not OK on any level. Checks out from my candidate POV. I was sent a pretty PDF that talked about how their candidate experience is different. In actuality, the recruiter was working unhealthily late when corresponding and did not exude any of the attributes described in the pretty PDF. I provided a professional rationale for declining the interview and have not heard back from the recruiter.
