This was an interesting one. The interview process is extensive but the recruitment team is great at communicating. I felt that all of the interviews went well but that the interviewers put in little effort. Most of them were at the "what else should I ask you" phase within a few minutes. That being said, the conversations were natural. Where things got a little weird was at the mock presentation stage. The interviewer seemed very disinterested and in fact, asked me 0 questions during our time. The task was to present a provided deck and the feedback I received on areas of improvement was, "I would never have my reps use a deck in the first conversation but I guess that's what we asked you to do. So a silly exercise I guess." Additional feedback in this session also lead me to believe their mission was secondary to driving financial goals (at least in the sales team). Even in spite of that, I had high hopes as the most senior individual said he would be setting me up with my next round of interviews. However, I received a call the next day that they would not be moving forward with me. To be fair, the process was relatively quick and well communicated. Just a very surprising finish and sad use of a role play.
