Applied online. Received a call from HR a week later for a phone screen and to set up an interview. The first interview was with the Geek Squad manager. I was asked 7 or 8 questions and then I asked 5 or 6 back. The questions are scripted, and I suggest you prepare some good ones as well. I was asked why I want to work at BB; describe a time when I went above and beyond to serve a customer; how would I assist someone who doesn't have any experience with technology; describe an information system that I used in the past.
The second interview was scheduled for the next day, this time with the store manager. He told me that if I made it through the first interview there is a good chance I will be hired. He asked me some questions for mere formality, asked if I had any questions for him, and then made me an offer on the spot.

Question 1
In my first interview I was asked how I would get my coworkers/peers to do something despite not having any authority over them. For some reason I pictured myself being a new employee trying to convince a coworker whom I didn't know to do something for me. I froze for about 20 seconds, but eventually came up with a pretty good answer. Basically, there are two kinds of respect--one is given and the other is earned.

Process started with an online interview panel where you are given a question / scenario and record your response. If you are accepted you then interview at the location you will be working with the Geek Squad manager.

I applied in October 2025. 2 weeks later I believe a field manager called me. Although he told me that he as already following up with candidates before me, he asked me if I can interview the next day with another person then next day. At this point, I knew I was probably not going to get a position. After I came in the next day, the person who I was to be interviewed with was standing behind the front counter working with a customer, even though I came before the customer and notified his coworkers. After waiting over 10 minutes for him to be finished with customer, he took me all the way to the back. He asked me a lot of situation questions, probably 15-20 questions. One might think these are easy questions. But, to me, they were quite challenging because I had to remember a lot of situations that related to these questions on the fly. I also remember that one needs to be able to fix and replace glass of mobile device. I didn't realize that this is one of the requirements as it was not mentioned in the job description. Of course, I don't remember every single question at the top of my head, but I'll put here what I do remember.

Made me wait over 15 min, not a huge deal, definitely didn't feel like they needed people. Never heard back from them. Managers seemed respectful of the fact I was in University and said many employees in the area are in school or working on something else.
