I applied at Best Buy in June 2009. The hiring manager called me back a week later and we scheduled an interview for the next day. I met with the manager and he seemed irritated that I was there. He then asked a lot of questions that seemed completely irrelevant to the position I was applying for. I stayed polite and tried to answer to the best of my abilities, but he seemed uninterested in me. To my surprise, he then said he would be in touch for a second interview. I kept my hopes up, but I should of known it was just a formality, as I never heard back from the company. Waste of time.

Was not hard. Asked simple behavioural questions and wanted to grasp if I could handle high-pressured environments to be able to handle work on days such as Black Friday. Mostly just talked about my past experience in retail!
It wasn’t bad at all. It was just a few quick questions about my past experience and whether or not I would be able to work part or full time, stuff like that.
