It's very unfortunate how companies continue to ghost you. I had a prescreen interview with one of the new recruiters. Everything went well (so I thought) and I was told they would follow up with me at the end of the week. I received no further communication even after following up with them personally through email twice. After two weeks of no responses, I receive a generic "we selected another candidate..." email. Very unprofessional for this position level, and the irony of the role they are seeking to fill was about communication. I was within their salary range, so I was truly baffled by the sudden lack of communication from them.
