Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our recruitment process. We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with our recruitment and that you cannot recommend our company as a potential place to work to other candidates. Regardless of the recruitment result, we always try to maintain open communication, providing appropriate information about the offers and answering any questions from candidates already during the first contact, e.g., on Linkedin. We will do our best to improve the recruitment process further and provide a better experience for our candidates to minimize the number of dissatisfaction situations (as yours) to zero.
Unfortunately, not all the information in your review is true, and we would like to address and clarify it.
In every recruitment, we put attitude, skills, and practical knowledge first. That is why we create our recruitment tasks based on similar situations, problems, or challenges from life in the company, which you can expect if you join us. The aforementioned GitHub is one of the tools we use in our daily work, so it is important for us that the candidate applying for a specific position has already had experience with it. We have never used and do not use tasks that can later be used for business purposes. There are many reasons why we cannot do this, and the most prominent one is related to data protection, including personal data. We would like to emphasize that we take this seriously, so if you think you have experienced such a situation and have evidence of it, please contact us via hr@bejamas.io.
When it comes to technologies that appear in job advertisements, we approach them similarly—that is, we only list those that we actually use in our daily work and projects.
We agree and admit that, unfortunately, in some cases, we send feedback with a delay. If this happens, we try to stay in constant contact with the candidate and provide information on an ongoing basis. We can confirm that the same thing happened in our case.
Last but not least, we don't use such practices in relation to salaries. The role you're referring to has the monthly base salary and the bonus compensation the person is entitled to when reaching the business goals. In no case do we cut the base salary. The metrics linked to the role and business goals that we present are directly mentioned in the job ad. We also discuss them during the first interview with the candidate, ensuring that this system is clear and understandable to the candidate.
Again, thank you for sharing your opinions. We can assure you that we will continue to improve each recruitment process and better meet candidates' needs.
We wish you all the best on your career path!
