Second interview w/Chief Engineer, offered job, stated salary. Final visit w/HR chose health plan, sign documents. Salary upset HR lady. "You're just a tech writer! I'll call you." CE called about start date. I explained. Later letter from HR said no openings for my qualifications. CE couldn't overrule HR.
