Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you didn’t have a great recruiting experience with us. We take our responsibility seriously for providing candidates with a smooth and engaging experience.
We received a very high volume of applications for the F&R graduate role and the purpose of the initial screening call is to support the shortlisting of candidates for the assessment centre process. Our recruitment process is designed to be competency based and although there may be some overlap in the questions, we would expect the discussions at the in-person event to be more depth than at the preliminary interview stage.
The in-person assessment centre comprising the group case study and 1:1 interview is structured to enable all aspects of the hiring process to happen on the day and is scheduled to take 2.5 – 3 hours. This timescale is communicated to candidates in advance. To ensure all candidates meet the hiring manager, there may a short wait which is normally 25-30 minutes, during this time one of the existing team members is on hand for an informal discussion to answer any questions about working at BearingPoint. The feedback from candidates is that they find this very helpful. We will review how we communicate to candidates in the event they are not successful.
We take requests for feedback very seriously and we have responded to all requests received from candidates. If you believe you haven’t received feedback, then please contact us at recruiter@bearingpointcareers.ie and we would be happy to facilitate this for you.
