There was an extensive process. Behavioral assessment and interview as well as technical interviews pertaining to your specific role. The final interviews were done in person by several managers and technical leaders with whom you would be working. They also require an extensive background check, drug screen, and personality assessment for the role. Battelle is a phenomenal research company that hires amazing people and so they set the bar very high, but they also reward you very well for it. Full day interview with multiple people with many asking the same questions multiple times.
Due to COVID, the audio didn’t work half the time. Many key individuals were not available.
Give a presentation around a research project you worked on. Then, several half hour block individual interviews with members of the analytics team. The questions were mostly around explaining past experience/how would you tackle such and such problem.
40 minute phone call followed by in person interview with a group of senior scientist as well as my boss. Fairly easy process, the time from application submission to final interview was less than a month.
