First, I applied online through their website, which asked some standard online application questions, then was contacted to come in for an interview. Asked me 1 or 2 questions then offered me the job. Only about 15 minutes, and they said I could wait to decide.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bartaco (Boston, MA) en juil. 2019
Entretien
I was texted by some man named Hector? Who set me up with an interview. When I tried to reschedule with him, he told me to call the restaurant and speak with someone as he was on vacation.
I have been a server for a few casual fine dining restaurants and I am always offered water. This may sound snotty but I wasn't asked, I was only asked if I planned on eating because I was taking up one of the server's tables.
When the manager finally got there, he had no idea how many interviews I had gone through and told me that this wasn't the restaurant if I wanted to come in and just take tables. Last time I checked, this was a server position. I smiled and just told him I was not interested in management positions but would be interested in moving towards a bartending role in the future if I were to move positions.
He offered me Monday, Sunday, and said he would 'try' to get me a Friday or Saturday. LOL So basically they only want the crappy does unloaded on someone. He made no eye contact and never even told his name or I would also post it here. I let Hector know of the terrible experience I had.
The interview became so uncomfortable, I finally said "This doesn't sound like the right place for me." I didn't even want to shake his hand and doing made me uncomfortable.
