      Entretien

The interview was pretty easy, started off with taking 3 videos of yourself to submit and then meeting with the hiring/sales manager. This is where it gets tricky. The COO was 5 minutes late to the call, and then had to switch rooms. the interview was going well until the end he got mad that I didn't study his LinkedIn enough and proceeded to have a power trip and I didn't have enough questions about him. I felt really uncomfortable during this interview. unbeknownst I have been dealing with a family emergency for the past week. which is why I "wasn't prepared" regardless I don't feel this was a good representation of the company.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry about your recent family emergency and hope everything is alright. The calendar system we use allows for candidates to easily reschedule in the event of emergency or sickness ---- to make sure they have the time and space to prepare. At Barn2Door we take the interview process very seriously as we look for team members for specific roles and responsibilities. We also want candidates to have enough information about the role, responsibilities and team members or leaders (interviewees). When we mutually interview we have the best likelihood of a win-win, setting up both the Company and candidate for success!

Very simple and great way to showcase yourself as you have to include video responses. It was very easy to navigate with no issues recording the videos and you could redo them as many times as needed.

The interview process was overall pretty normal. The first interview was not bad, until I realized this is a family owned company.... So I spoke with the wife first then the husband.... the wife was cool, the husband/COO was honestly so rude... They low ball on salary and expect you to be in office 5 days a week and they have zero plans of changing that. I told him I was looking more for a remote role and he snapped at me and told me that you cannot find success in a remote setting and that all big companies are in office and if I want to succeed I can't be remote.... I told him I disagree with that statement as I have been remote and successful for the last 4 years. He did not like that... overall he was so rude so I ended the interview. The other reviews are also bad so I was not going to continue this regardless. When I brought up the bad reviews, he told me those were from people who did not want to work or succeed.... Don't waste your time interviewing here...

Thanks for sharing your comments. At Barn2Door, we recognize we are missing out on some candidates who prefer remote or hybrid roles. While working in-office may be unpopular for some, we love the productivity, collaboration and culture it brings to Barn2Door. Most importantly, our #1 priority is to do what is best to support Independent Farmers across the country. Working closely together provides better, ongoing training, professional development, and spontaneous connections.
