Really transparent and open about the roll and your day to day responsibilities. I knew exactly who I was interviewing with and what to expect from day one! They left a lot of time at the end to answer all my questions.

I went through 6 interviews over the course of a month and a half. Each time I asked when I should expect a follow-up to know next steps or if I should start looking elsewhere, I was given a date and patiently waited. Every single time I had to contact them and it was so disorganized. For an tech company that specializes in HR software, you would assume that the hiring process would be more streamlined. At the end I was told "I don't think you will fit in with our culture." I could've completely understood if it was due to a more qualified candidate, but to be told by a company that you wouldn't "fit in"? That was hurtful. I can understand this being taken as a salty review due to not getting the job, but that is completely not true. I have been denied jobs plenty of times, and even though it sucks to be rejected, but I appreciate the learning experience and carry on to the next one. This is by far the worst interview process that I have gone through and I hope this is not the standard.
