I met a recruiter in a career fair. There we had a conversation about what I like about construction. I also told them some of my background and that I really liked the company. I heard from the company before running into them at the career fair. They told me to apply online to a specific position.

J'ai passé un entretien chez Balfour Beatty (Manchester, Angleterre)
Entretien
I discussed my academic background and engineering interests, answered technical and competency questions, reflected on teamwork experience, and explained my motivation for joining Balfour Beatty and learning through real, live infrastructure projects.
J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Balfour Beatty (Los Angeles, CA) en sept. 2024
Entretien
Gung-ho, interviewer wasn’t professional. Setup an initial call that served genuinely no purpose. Interview itself involved a discussion with the project team which involved a note about how one of the staff was openly discriminatory. Softball questions on work ethic, education, no expectation of experience. Discussed benefits which included a gas card and truck. The interview itself took format as a discussion of vague responsibilities rather than formal questions.
