Only had a phone screening as the job pay level was well below what I was currently making. This positions is to develop a new training program for Backcountry.com including orientation, call center staff and leadership reporting to the EVP of HR with direct reports. Pay was only $65000 a year with no bonus. It would appear as others have posted Backcountry does not pay to get the talent they need to make themselves a good company.

No question interview was over when they ask up front about salary needs. Which since this was the first question they ask makes me believe they know the pay is low.
