Multi step process that included a series of interviews with local and national leaders. Fairly standard for a health care start-up, no big surprises along the way. Positive experience overall. Offered the job but went another way.

The best interview process I ever experienced in my career.
Screening interview: the recruiter spend about 10 minutes telling me about the company, and only then started asking questions - most recruiters do it the other way round.
Coding exercise: pair programming in Java, in a shared IntelliJ screen with one of the Senior Software Engineers. Not too difficult but was a good chance to demonstrate TDD and Clean Code practices. In the end spent some time discussing the possible performance optimisations.
Culture interview: conversation with a Director of Engineering about past experience, design approaches, choice of technologies, team work etc.
Systems Design interview with a Staff Engineer. Given a non-trivial problem, had to design database schema and a distributed application, discussing pros and cons of different approaches.
After a positive feedback, had two interviews with team leaders which I could potentially join. Then had the opportunity to choose one of them.
Declined the offer at a late stage because of a different offer, but overall the experience was very positive!

I applied to Babylon Health (UK) and had a pleasant call with a recruiter. There seemed to be a fit based off of our conversation and my CV with the job posting. The recruiter spent most of the time talking about the IPO-status of the company, less so on figuring out who I am as a person. After our talk, the recruiter said he was going to refer my application to some colleagues to proceed forward with a HackerRank question. However, I have been ghosted since then which was unfortunate as I was looking forward to the process -- I've since accepted an offer at another company so there was no point following up. Though this experience may not reflect the company itself, it reflects poorly on the recruiter.
