Went through a recruiter but after CV check I had a phone interview with my "would be" manager, then a face to face interview in which I had to prepare a 15 minute interview on my first 90 days.
I was contacted by a recruiter, then had a Skype call followed by an in-person interview. I was given a scenario beforehand which was to be discussed at the interview.
