The interview was too good to be true! I received a phone call and after speaking with the CEO he was practically offering me the job after speaking with him. He started the convesation by talking about himself and his successes explaining that this would make me more comfortable. Then, went on to explain that this position would eventually lead to an executive position. He also said that he doesn't like his employees working from home during COVID and is looking for an individual to go to all of his locations across wisconsin on a monthly basis. He had arranged me to come in for an in-person interview however, after reading the reviews I was truely afraid to come in. I've experienced these types of personalities in the past and these types can ruin your career. He sounded too nice on the phone except for a few red flags. He said he liked to "teach" people and "enjoys challenges" in reference to me and at the end of the conversation mentioned how I may end up not liking him but I'd learn a great deal from his expertise in the industry. He also mentioned how I sounded unconfident during the interview and how he would like to "mold" me into a successful individual.
