I was invited for a screening interview with a recruiter. We had a pleasant conversation and she informed me that she would follow-up with me regarding questions that I had, given the hiring manager was on vacation. She told me if I didn’t hear from her in about one week, to follow-up with her via email. After not hearing from her, I followed up with her twice, about one week apart. She never got back to me, never responded, nothing. Completely ghosted me. I was highly disappointed in the experience.

Question 1
It was a basic screening interview. Just asked me about my background, why I was looking for a new position, etc.
J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez BMO Financial Group (Chicago, IL) en juil. 2015
Entretien
The interview was scheduled with the broker-dealer and investment advisory group, in separate group interviews on the same day. The group is comprised largely of trust and estate planning attorneys, as opposed to attorneys who represent B-Ds and RIAs. All of the attorneys with whom I interviewed were very competent, pleasant and seemed to enjoy working at BMO Financial Group. The interviews were short and succinct. Although the contact person indicated that BMO would contact me within the next few weeks to discuss employment, several weeks passed with no contact. During that period of time, the contact person never responded to e-mails or voice mails to confirm whether a decision had or had not been made. I ultimately learned from another employee that the position already had been filled, with a lateral who worked with other attorneys at a different group.
