I initially applied for a maternity leave position. I was not offered that position, but the HR rep kept me on her short list for upcoming openings. I was invited to a hiring event that involved giving a 20 min demo and then an interview with the HR rep and another teacher. That went very well, so I was invited to meet with the head of school for an interview. I met with her and she had seen my teaching demo and was impressed, so the interview was straight forward. More than her questioning me, she spent time explaining BASIS, and how I would proceed to become a teacher. We had a very good rapport right off the bat.

The interview was great, the questions were easy to answer and i got along with the principal greatly. We spoke about art history for a good minute. I was told they would definitely be in contact the following week.
