I met the hiring manager for about an hour after work one night. He was a decent guy and seemed professional and easy to talk to. I felt that the interview went as well as it could have, given that I didn't have the exact experience they were looking for.

Interview went well with standard questions about job history and current goals. Did not discuss company history or philosophy though I had done the reading and could have answered. Spent most of the time discussing previous positions and what worked well and what needed improvement.

Timeframe from submission to first contact was over a month. HR Phone screen followed by panel interviews a week or so later. HR seemed to impede the hiring manager's desire to expedite on-boarding.
