J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez B&Q (Barrow in Furness, England) en août 2019
Entretien
I first had a phone interview. The person on the phoned asked me some basic experience questions such as “how much experience do you have in customer service?” “Why have you chosen to apply” etc.
I then successfully got through to an in-store interview with the manager and he was alongside two other members of staff. At first we waiting in the staff room for them to print of paperwork, then we all got brought into a training room. Once we got there we had to list four out of I think 13 important factors when it comes to great customer service.
Once we had then completed and shared our ideas we then moved onto the sales pitch which we got told to review any product from their website and sell it to them on why we think it’s a great item. I chose one of their large range-cookers. Don’t forget, any company that offers finance makes a lot of money from this, so a quick tip; mention it, especially if it’s over £1000.
After this we got told to wait back into the staff room so that they can do the one to one interviews.
I declined their offer simply because they offered me totally different hours to the one I applied for. Very disappointed with this, if I knew this before hand; I wouldn’t have bothered. The job was for 30, they offered me 16.
