The staff was impressed with my resume since I had a masters degree in Spanish and had taught languages before. Also, they do not get a lot of native speakers wanting to live in Goiania and it is complicated to try to hire one from abroad, so they were delighted to have a native speaker already living here. They asked me about my background in teaching and what steps I followed in a lesson plan. Then they showed me the salary and told me that they had 3 groups for me to teach and I accepted. They are very professional and they pay more than most of the other schools in this city. I know this because I know friends that teach in other schools. They also asked me to teach a mini lesson on a different day, only so that they could customize their training for me.
