The interview discussed a fund model that I was asked to complete prior to the interview, along with a benchmarking exercise. One of the interviewers walked out halfway during the interview. The interview was hostile and any questions were met with a cold and uninformative answer.

Was asked to complete a fund benchmarking and modelling exercise for a US buyout fund, before speaking in a brief presentation on a recommendation for the fund. The experience was negative. The interviewers seemed dismissive of my experience given that I did not come from an established investment firm. Was disinterested throughout and rushed off halfway through the interview despite the allotted 1 hour time.
