The recruiter reached out to me about taking the Predictive Index assessment before moving on to phone screen. It looks like they want all of their employees with the same personality and if you don't, you "fail" their test. It seems like there is some bias involved with the process. Some candidates take it after the phone screen, others take it before. This can come off as discrimination and they should really keep the process the same across all boards. Weird process and judging from the reviews, it looks like I avoided a red flag company.

Did phone screening and didn’t hear back. Questions were basic but not sure what they were looking for more salesy than recruiting. After that didn’t hear back. They were pretty picky but job descriptions is entry level

This was one of the most unprofessional interview processes I’ve experienced in quite some time. As a recruiter myself, I make it a point to clearly communicate with candidates when sending an assessment, including letting them know it may land in spam since it’s often the first outreach and contains a link. I would never expect a candidate to complete an assessment without any prior communication or context.
After completing the assessment, I received no follow-up and was effectively ghosted. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve had this experience with an Aya recruiter. I understand that things get busy, but clear and respectful communication should remain a priority throughout the process.
