Interviewed with three attorneys who had no clue about prospects for obtaining assignments in the fields of expertise at issue. They were perfectly congenial people but they had less experience in any of the three or four fields we discussed than I have, and no particular basis in experience or knowledge of legal industry trends or needs to anticipate who would be a good attorney to add to their stable of attorneys.
