Was contacted by recruiter and scheduled time next day to talk. Conversation lasted aprox. 30min and consisted mostly of questions about my background. Next step consisted of phone interview with hiring manager located in another city. Interview lasted about 45min. Received a call about a week later from recruiters assistant to schedule a face to face with hiring manager at headquarters in Atlanta. I followed up with an email then fell into a dark hole. No follow whatsoever from recruiter or hiring manager. Through my job search I have encountered many recruiters...most are on it...call you to let you know either way and will generally give you an idea of why they are not moving forward or why you stood out an they are making an offer. To me that is just common courtesy.
