J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Autodesk (Singapour) en mai 2010
Entretien
One manager contacted me over phone and did discussion for few minutes. He just asked about myself. Would I like to shift to Singapore?, what would be the notice period? He also asked 3 strong points and 3 weak points about me?
2. Then there was no contact for about 15 days. I thought he didn't liked based on the above short discussion.
3.On one day, he again called me and asked to schedule an technical interview. I asked him to schedule after few days. Then he insisted why it can't be just on the next day. So I agreed and I was interviewed on next day without any preparation.
4. Technical interview started with my projects in . Then C++ (virtual function, copy constructor, assignment operator, STL, templates). I was not able to answer question on STL and templates. They asked if I have worked on UI and if I know MFC. I replied I have worked on UI but never used MFC and described them about UICOMP framework. They asked to do one code review. and asked to write two programs(Desktop was shared):
a. To count a specific word in an text file
b. To count positive bits in an integer.
Technical interview was about 1.5 hrs.
3 rounds, not that stressful, love the environment. more like to chat. And maybe it would be better to prepare some tech questions, it sould be really helpful. But the tech comes until the second, and third round is more like behavior questions.
Typical software engineer process. First telephone resume screening. and then OA and then Onsite interview. Each step is average difficult. But HR did ask some personal private questions which made me unconfortable.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Autodesk en avr. 2026

I first had a call with the recruiter to discuss the role, my background, and my experience. After that, I was invited to Round 1 with the manager.
The interview was mostly behavioral and focused heavily on teamwork, collaboration, and communication-related topics. Toward the end, there were also a few technical questions covering C++, DSA fundamentals, and other stuff related to the role.
Overall, the process felt professional and respectful. The manager was kind, approachable, and treated me with respect throughout the interview.
