For the Senior Frontend Developer. There will be total of 5 rounds.

This will be a filtering rounds questions would revolve around Javascript and CSS. Some output based questions and one css implementation and one Javascript coding question . Easy to medium. Time is limited
Round 2 : Browser Coding round / React Machine coding round. Take care of edge cases.
Round 3 : Javascript coding . Take care of optimization techniques used mostly around promises and async code and locale storage.
Round 4 : HLD system design round.
Round 5 and 6 will be managerial rounds.

First round was the Karat interview which was conducted by few overseas Indian interview engineers. They ask 3 questions about JS and then followed by some coding exercises. It was a waste of time tbh, as the questions are pretty irrelevant to your daily tasks and they look dis-interested pretty much all the time. Will never go through this pointless Karat interview for any companies.

I had a screen call with Atlassian's recruiter. Then I had two rounds of technical interviews on Karat, which were fairly straightforward. After that, I completed two rounds focused on machine and JavaScript coding — challenging but reasonable for a senior role. The system design round also went smoothly.
Later, the recruiter told me I passed all rounds with strong results, but they couldn't move forward due to a hiring freeze and internal restructuring. Some time after, another recruiter said I was at the top of their list — but I never heard back.
