Application and Initial Screening Online Application: Candidates submit their resumes and other required documents through the SLB careers portal. Screening: HR reviews applications to shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience. Some roles may include an initial screening call to discuss your background and interest in the position. 2. Online Assessments Aptitude Tests: Candidates may be required to take online tests that assess logical reasoning, numerical ability, and problem-solving skills. Technical Assessments: Depending on the role, there might be technical tests related to engineering principles, coding (if applicable), or industry-specific knowledge. 3. Technical Interview Panel or One-on-One: The technical interview typically involves a panel of engineers and managers. They assess your understanding of engineering concepts, problem-solving abilities, and how you approach technical challenges. Case Studies/Problem-Solving: You may be given real-world problems or case studies related to SLB’s operations to solve on the spot. This could involve calculations, design considerations, or simulations. 4. Behavioral Interview STAR Method: This stage focuses on behavioral and situational questions, often using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). They evaluate how you handle work situations, teamwork, leadership, and adaptability. Cultural Fit: SLB looks for candidates who align with their values and culture, such as a commitment to safety, innovation, and collaboration. Be prepared to discuss how your values align with SLB's. 5. Final Interview Senior Management: The final stage may involve interviews with senior management or department heads. This is often more conversational, focusing on your career goals, motivation for joining SLB, and how you see yourself contributing to the company's success. Discussion on Role and Expectations: This is also an opportunity to clarify the role, discuss salary expectations, and any other job-related details. 6. Offer and Onboarding Job Offer: If successful, you’ll receive a formal job offer, which includes the terms of employment, salary, and benefits. Onboarding Process: Once you accept the offer, the onboarding process begins, where you’ll complete necessary documentation and get introduced to your new team and work environment.
