Straight-forward process. Met with owner and GM. Generic recruitment style interview that was more conversational in style. I declined to move further though GM/owner wanted to proceed. In the interview, I witnessed the owner seemingly gloat about the bullying culture and verbally disparaging a current recruiter in front of me. While the latter was under the guise of a "joke", it was hardly the professional environment I was looking for and, judging on the reaction of the recruiter being made fun of, it looked like he wasn't thrilled but had little choice but to smile and acquiesce the comment coming from the owner. I'd be inclined to believe the negative reviews as more than just disgruntled former employees. With that said, if you like a very "laddish" culture and get along with the owner in the interview, it could be a good fit for you even though it was a hard-pass for me.
