The discussions were smooth, and I received positive feedback. However, after the salary negotiation stage, things took a turn for the worse. Despite being told that I would receive an update in 5-6 days, the process kept dragging on with no clear resolution. Every follow-up was met with the same vague response: "We will update you soon." This lack of communication and unnecessary delay is extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company’s hiring practices. If Ascentt has decided not to move forward, the least they can do is provide a clear and timely response instead of keeping candidates in limbo. This kind of behavior is disrespectful to applicants who invest time and effort into the process. A company’s hiring process is a reflection of its work culture, and such inefficiency raises serious concerns. I would advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with Ascentt, especially if timely communication and professionalism are important to you.
