Received an email from the Talent Recruiter to set up a phone screen. Scheduled it and then 6 MINUTES before the call was supposed to begin, received the following email: I am sorry but we are no longer doing phone screens for this position per the hiring leader. I will get back to you if we continue to recruit for the position. The very next day, I get an email that says I was not selected for the position. They talk about the culture on their website extensively but this is a poor way to treat people. Total disregard for time wasted waiting for a call and preparing for the interview.

Applied online. Received a call to set up a phone screen on a Thursday afternoon. We did that on Friday. Screener seemed unprepared with questions so I just took over the interview by basically telling her what I did on a daily basis. She seemed impressed and said she would forward my information to the hiring team. Later that same day I received a call to set up an in-person interview for that coming Monday so I shifted my schedule to accommodate. Although I was qualified for the job and felt the interview went well, I was not expecting an offer due to the fact that when I looked around the building there was NO ethcnic diversity. I guess it was not meant for me to work there anyways because I probably would have felt isolated and alone. It was there loss ultimately, but it's really sad how one dimensional that work environment is in 2018.
