The interview Process was explained to me as such: 1) Introductory interview w/ recruiter - this is a conversation about your past experiences. Some STAR interview questions about your favorite projects and time to learn about the company. 2) Codesignal assessment - this is a 20 question assessment. 4 coding, 16 multiple choice. For the programming questions, they consisted of a typical data structures and algorithms problem, a debugging error problem, two promise based problems all in JS. For the multiple choice questions, they were primarily, "Will this print" / "What will this print" / "Which of the following would produce the correct output" all based around javascript and it's async properties. You'll have a week to complete, so study js async like I didn't. 3) This interview would consist of a conversation with the CEO supposedly about your role in the company, any questions and a live coding session. 4) This could be the last coding session or behavioral interview with the team that you'd be working with.
