2-step interview. First there's a phone interview and second, a teaching demo. They give you some work to complete and prep a lesson. They never let you know what they're looking for, so you're sort of just winging it. They really should be more clear about what kind of teachers they're after. I have years of teaching experience, so I don't know what their issue with me was.

Question 1
Are you comfortable teaching curriculum that you didn't write?
Short phone interview then writing assignment. Look at courses, write about why one would be interesting to you and how you would teach it. Then provide feedback on sample student work.

The director seemed rushed and disinterested. There was only superficial discussion, without much personal engagement. He didn't discuss teaching styles, or expectations, and there was not a sense about the place of a school culture or camaraderie.
