20 minutes to discuss this whole role, and I am not sure the person conducting the interview even cared to be there. Despite having the qualifications for the role, I was promptly rejected. She even said my interview went well and described the process for moving forward, so I was a bit surprised. I followed up to ask for more insight and never heard anything. Seems to be an organization that really focuses on what you do outside of work, with a big emphasis on people who do yoga.

Completed a recruiter phone screen. Ultimately it was 20 minutes and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. One of the questions included asking why I had been on the job market for an extended period of time which I was a bit stunned by considering anyone could see the state of the job market at the moment, but also frankly candidates can be dealing with caregiving, or invisible disabilities or illnesses that they do not want to share. I found that question particularly unacceptable, and it takes time that could have been spent diving deeper into background and experience and the needs of the business. Also a 20 minute interview for a Lead role is deeply inadequate unfortunately. Received a canned rejection email 1 day later.
