I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn who was not employed the company but who said he had worked closely with this particular site for 15 years. He sent me a very vague job description (without the company name) and asked to talk on the phone. I was expecting for the phone call to be mainly to be given details about the position and company. Instead I was pressured to "sell" the recruiter why I wanted to work there even though I had been told almost nothing about the role and only found out the name of the company a few seconds before (and had never heard of them before). Then I was lectured for my lack of salesmanship. I said no thank you I do not wish to proceed any further with applying to this company.

Completed multiple phone screenings before being brought in onsite for a panel style interview. Questions were basic in nature either focusing on a specific item in the resume that the interviewers wanted to know more about or general such as tell us about a time when. Overall interview process was straightforward and average. No major surprises.
