Applied again for this position (see first interview I posted) was contacted by a senior broker and had a phone chat asking questions about my background. Asked me to come in for an interview which I did. The guys who were going to interview us pulled their "30 minute late to the interview they set up" shtick (again). Group interview, this time it was not in the meeting room it was I'm the ceo's office which had a meeting table.
The senior broker told us that he doesn't care about our resume and to tell him something about ourselves. I had my story ready as this was not the first time I was there. He gave us the run down of what the job entails, base salary was $2,000. He then gave us the usual two minute walk around the office, led us to the lobby, giving us a business card for us to contact if we decided that this was for us and we were sent on our way.
I came back 10 minutes later to tell him in person that I really want this. He led me to the managing directors office and had a chat with him. He asked me why I decided to choose this firm instead of others. He also asked if I held any licenses. He gave me his business card and told me to call him at wendseday at 10:00 am ( it was Monday) so I called him and he didnt pick up, called some more until he said he was in a meeting and that I should call back in an hour. Called back an hour later, didnt pick up. Kept calling, calling, calling. Until I got through I was told he still has interview and that I should call back Friday. Friday came kept calling, calling, calling, and he says he will have a decision on Monday. I was starting to get agitated so I called the second senior broker, he doesn't pick up. The first broker actually calls me up yelling, and hangs up the phone.
called back and Monday at 10 like he had told me to. As soon as I get through to him and tell him who is calling, he transfers me over to the broker who yelled and me and says "we decided to go a different route."
by far the worst interview experience ever.
