Recruiter reached out to me directly on LinkedIn. No phone call. Asked if I was interested. I said yes and then received a questionnaire to fill out regarding specific segments sold to, quotas, customer examples and was told this was an URGENT hire. After i send the answers back, I follow up and nothing. 3 weeks later I get an email apologizing for just getting back to me even though this was “urgent” and sets up an interview with manager. Great I thought! The interview starts with asking me what accounts I’ve sold to, which was in the questionnaire. Told Im not qualified for the job because of not having experience selling to enterprise accounts and a 30 minute interview that I prepped hours for ends in 10 minutes. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME for me and the company. The manager was a nice guy….but someone dropped the ball here badly. Disappointing.
