At the start of the recruitment process everything was great. I applied for the Christmas temp job and got an invitation the next day to arrange an interview. I was sent a link to make the appointment which was very convenient as I could choose the day and time I could come. The interview itself in my opinion went really well and I was told that I would receive an email informing me if I was successful or not. And here is the negative bit - after 2 weeks of waiting I still have not received any communication about my interview outcome. I phoned Sainsbury's recruitment team to enquire about my application but was told that the store managers themselves decide whether I got the job or not. However , I was told by the interviewee that they don't decide the outcome. I was then told by the Sainsbury's Recruitment Team to contact the Argos store where I had the interview. Itried calling but no one answers the phone. I guess I will assume I was not successful but I am disappointed that I did not receive the promised email about the outcome of my interview and was left hanging there and wondering.

A few basic questions about what you’re like, what you’re good at, what you can offer etc etc etc Thought it was relaxed and okay, friendly store manager was interviewer
