The interview process was normal. I met with my future boss and interviewed, then he walked me around the venue and explained what I would be doing and got a feel for whether or not I would be a good fit. Unfortunately it took over a month to get from being hired to actually working, which was a common complaint from many people that apply there (since most people need to start working right away when they get hired).

How did my experiences as a restaurant GM prepare me for managing an event venue?
The interview was easy-going. Though there were tough questions, it didn't feel overwhelming. There were any group interviews, which was nice. The direct supervisor interview was informative, but the interview with the head director felt like a conversation which was nice to get a change in vibe instead of 2 hours of intense questioning.

Entretien
I applied online on the 16th of Jan 2022.
I had a phone interview with the recruiter on 20 Jan. Just going over resume and salary requirements.
On 11 February I interviewed in person at the site with the Assistant Director of Concessions. He informed me they would not being hiring until mid March. Standard interview questions went over my experience.
Received a verbal offer 14 March. I accepted the offer and start 31 March.
