I had 8 virtual interviews with employees around the company, most of which worked in my field or in leadership. Some of the meetings had more than one employee present. They took place over 2 days, which ended in me presenting some of my research to the company in a virtual brownbag style talk followed by q&a. The interviews varied a lot. Some of them were relaxed and just allowed me to ask questions about the company, others were highly technical and delved into my skills and abilities. Overall it was a pleasant experience with just some slight intimidation, and I really appreciated how straightforward and open the employees were with me. I felt like I got a really good understanding of what working here would be like. Now that I have been at Aptima for a while, I have been on the other side of the interview process and always strive to do the same for new applicants.
