Applied online and managed to get the attention of a recruiter who scheduled an introductory interview with the hiring manager. That was followed by a panel interview with a code assessment. On the panel interview 2 out of 3 interviewers did not turn their cameras on. Nobody seemed to be real prepared for the interview or real experienced with interviewing. The two recruiters I had been working with both ghosted me after the interview after multiple follow-ups. They were both super quick to respond to set up the interviews, but then nothing. Not even an automated rejection email afterwards. Completely unprofessional.

Question 1
The coding assessment consisted of going through a provided code sample to clean up issues and make suggestions for improvement. This was accomplished by providing control of the interviewer's computer through Zoom, which was remoted into another machine that had Visual Studio open. The latency from the screen share/remote keyboard control/remote desktop was a major killer.
