I applied online and received a disorganized boxy email from who I assumed was a hiring manager. He gave me a few times and after choosing one, we set up a phone call. The call was strange. The manager barely fleshed out the role and it was mainly me reciting my experience. He clearly wasn't fit to interview anyone. He even told me I'd either get a call back with the next steps or I'd never hear from them again. Very professional. I obviously never heard back and didn't care. I never gained an understanding of the role.
